Confidential Financial Statement Form
The “Confidential Financial Statement” form, a verification
of financial support, is required only of International applicants and
must be less than one year old.
Documentation of financial sponsorship is a two-part document:
- The first part of the document should include a statement
from the applicant’s sponsor that the sponsor is willing
and able to support the student financially during the entire length
of stay, guaranteeing payment of tuition and fees, books, living expenses,
and health insurance.
- The second part of the documentation should include verification
from the sponsor’s bank that sufficient funds are available to
support the student’s education and personal expenses (a
figure stated in the United States equivalency must be quoted) for
the duration of an academic year.
If admitted, the above documentation and a $500 non-refundable confirmation
deposit (U.S. funds), applicable toward the first term tuition and fees,
must be submitted before an I-20 AB will be issued.
If admitted from another United States institution, the applicant and
the current United States institution will be required to complete a Transfer
form, in order to release and transfer records submitted to INS in the
SEVIS system.
