Discovery Program

The Discovery Program is a two year course offering for 11th and 12th graders at Northeast Academy for Health Sciences and Engineering. Discovery I and Discovery II are designed to meet the required science curriculum in the area of anatomy and physiology and participating students receive one science credit and one elective credit.

The program is small in numbers, approximately 30 students in Discovery I, and 20 in Discovery II, allowing for maximum interaction with students and hands on participation. Students in the program benefit from access to the resources and facilities of the OUHSC campus where they are afforded a better understanding of the health sciences professions.
