The program goal is promoting knowledge and skill development for essential areas of faculty responsibility. Seminar content is supplemented with opportunities for team building and leadership to enhance personal effectiveness. The following briefs offer suggestions to help prepare faculty, mentors, and department chiefs, chairs, and supervisors for important feedforward and feedback meetings about academic career expectations and progress. These suggestions should be reviewed by faculty and supervisors with the specific department and college context and performance expectations in mind.
