On 3-21-11 at approximately 1345, a robbery by force occurred at 1000 Stanton L. Young Blvd. (East side of the Library) A white male in his 20’s 6’00 , thin build, wearing dark colored jeans, a dark gray hoodie, black and white tennis shoes, and a dark knit cap on his head, grabbed the victim’s purse tearing it loose from her arm, and ran north on Stonewall and was last seen in the area of 900 block of NE 13th Street. The suspect likely has “gauge” earrings in both ears. Attached are surveillance photos which the victim has identified as being the suspect. These photos were taken just prior to the attack, on the west side of the Library where the attack occurred.
