Natural Compound Stops Diabetic Retinopathy Compound restores balance in eye with one treatment; affects macular degeneration and cancer too OKLAHOMA CITY – Researchers at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center have found a way to use a natural compound to stop one of the leading causes of blindness in the United States. The research appears online this month in the journal Diabetes, a publication of the American Diabetes Association.
