Professional Practice Gap:
The indications for liver Transplantation for Acute Alcoholic Hepatitis are still in the developing phase. Survival after an episode of Alcoholic Hepatitis can improve with timely transplantation.  Reviewing the world’s literature and discussing the experience from a high volume liver transplant center, will help us to better understand liver transplantation as a therapeutic option in the disease process.
