Answer and Discussion: The answer is (A). Meningioma is uncommon in children and essentially unknown in infants. These tumors, however, tend to arise in a rather uncommon locations for meningioma including the infratentorial, intraventricular, intraparenchymal region, and in the spinal column. They tend to be more aggressive and are often associated with NF2. Meningioangiomatosis is not a true tumor but a hamartomatous proliferation.
