Allegations of Misconduct
It is the policy of the University of Oklahoma HSC Police Department to investigate all complaints against this agency, or of alleged employee misconduct, to equitably determine whether the allegations are valid or invalid, and take appropriate action.
It is the mission of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the university community by providing a safe campus environment in which students, faculty, staff and visitors may work, learn and conduct research. We will provide quality police services ethically, fairly and equally in partnership with the members of our community.
The OUHSC Police Department emphasizes the values of professionalism, respect, integrity, dedication and excellence in all areas. We strive for accountability and continuous improvement in customer service. In so doing, we will adhere to the core values to guide our decisions and behavior.

Synopses of the Complaint Process
Any allegation of misconduct against an employee, whether it involves a violation of a local, state, or Federal law as codified or interpreted by courts of competent jurisdiction, or any violation of a person’s civil or constitutional rights, or any violation of the agency written policies/directives. This may include an act or omission of an act, will be investigated without prejudice. All complaints will be accepted from any source at any time by any means.
