Faculty Associates are engaged in active partnership with the Center for Learning and Leadership on collaborative research, education, and/or service projects.  The Center for Learning and Leadership will share AUCD national resources, updates, and funding opportunities with Faculty Associates, and Faculty Associates can choose to be linked to the Center for Learning and Leadership website.  Faculty Associates will also be eligible for the Center for Learning and Leadership/Oklahoma UCEDD Seed Grant Program.

Faculty Associates Program

As part of its mission of advocacy, capacity building, and systems change, the Center for Learning and Leadership/ Oklahoma UCEDD engages with scholars and teaching faculty from diverse disciplines at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center who are pursuing research, education, and service activities related to issues important to the developmental disability community.  We seek scholars and faculty members with diverse educational, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds representative of Oklahoma’s diversity.  The Center for Learning and Leadership works in partnership with Faculty Associates in community-based research, education, and service. 

Center for Learning and Leadership Faculty Associates are University of Oklahoma scholars and faculty members who work with advocates with developmental disabilities, developmental disability organizations, and UCEDD staff on topics of community interest within one or more of the following areas:
