Education at OUHSC

OU Names New Senior Vice President and Provost for the Health Sciences Center

The University of Oklahoma announced today the appointment of Gary Raskob, Ph.D., as senior vice president and provost for the OU Health Sciences Center, pending OU Board of Regents’ approval.

COVID-19 UPDATE

As of May 12, 2023, the University has retired its COVID-19 Response Plans.  Related information is available below and from Human Resources.

For information about returning to work after testing positive for COVID-19, please consider the CDC guidance on this topic.
 
For information on masking requirements in patient care areas, please contact the appropriate clinic manager. Requirements vary by clinic, based on patient population and infection control standards.

Masking protocols for general facilities and classrooms remain unchanged. As before, people may choose to mask at any time or for any purpose.
 
Individuals working or rotating at off-site locations are expected to follow the policies of the facilities where they are assigned.
