OU Health Sciences utilizes the digital signage software suite and Content Management System (CMS) from, Poppulo.
The campus digital signage platform hosts an intricate network of 250+ displays that include all 3 campuses (OKC, Norman, and Tulsa), placed in a multitude of areas and reaching diverse groups of audiences which include students, faculty, staff, visitors, and patients. Digital signs are a great way to raise awareness of upcoming events occurring in your building or department, help visitors locate where they are and need to go to reach their destination, give a snapshot of meetings currently taking place on any given day in a given space, alert the campus of emergencies using the RAVE emergency alert system, as well as many other use cases.
How to Get a Digital Sign Installed
- Submit a Digital Signage Request
- The Learning Spaces team will do a site visit to walk-through and locate key areas for installation and then provide a quote based on data, power, and installation needs.
- Once quote has been approved, equipment will be ordered and installation will be scheduled.
- Power and data will be run.
- Learning Spaces will complete installation and bring system online.
- Training via Zoom with the Digital Signage Administrator will be scheduled for any staff that will mange content for the screens, and accounts and permissions will be created. Be sure to check out the list of pre-made OU Branded templates ready made for digital signage so that you can discuss what you'd like for your particular use case. Custom template designs can also be made.
- Chosen templates will be assigned and deployed to your screens.
