OBJECTIVES
- Increase awareness of geriatric/gerontology themed educational resources
- Identify specific webinars appropriate for viewing based on discipline and special interests
ACTIVITIES
OkGEC webinars are educational presentations that focus on gerontology/geriatric content. They are prepared and presented by health professionals and others who have extensive expertise in the field of aging. Many topics relevant for students and professionals from diverse backgrounds are available for viewing. This activity allows you to choose topics of special interest to you. They can be viewed any time. Each webinar is approximately one hour in length.
- Choose three webinars from the archives found at www.ouhsc.edu/okgec/webinars.asp
Document each webinar viewing by e-mailing your program mentor the name of the webinar and the date viewed.
- Social Workers in Oklahoma can receive 1 CEU for each "ethics" webinar observed. Please contact jeanene-lindsey@ouhsc.edu for documentation instructions.
