On March 24th Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day was held at the Capitol. It was a resounding success with hundreds of attendees, including individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, self-advocates, family advocates, professionals, and Legislators. Speakers shared their experiences, emphasizing the importance of legislative action to support the disability community. Participants engaged directly with lawmakers, advocating and educating under the theme "Together We Can."
