Thursday, March 21, 2024

Jeanette O'Hara, OKLEND 2022 graduate, is Founder/Executive Director of the nonprofit, Will's House, located just outside Tulsa in Jenks. Will’s House serves as a specialized respite option that supports full time caregivers of children and young adults with complex medical needs or intellectual/developmental disabilities. Jeanette’s approach is simple yet profound: "What do you need? How can we help you?" This philosophy reflects a commitment to addressing the many unrecognized gaps in services and supports for people with I/DD, family caregivers, and communities. Recently, Will's House was honored by the ARCH (Access to Respite Care and Help) National Respite Network and Resource Center. The organization recognized Will's House as an Innovative and Exemplary Program.
