Every May, National Speech-Language-Hearing Month brings attention to communication challenges and the role that professionals such as audiologists and speech language pathologists (speech therapists) play in helping. This year marks 100 years of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). ASHA will highlight stories and activities that show the lasting impact of these professionals over the years. In Oklahoma, services like those offered at the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center and the OSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic provide vital support to individuals with communication disorders. For more details, visit ASHA's Centennial website.
