For the first time in the history of the Oklahoma Developmental Disability Services (DDS) Waiting List, the Legislators have dedicated $21.3M to provide Waiver Services to those on the waiting list. The Oklahoma Human Services (DHS) is committed to end the Waiting List. "I never thought this day would ever come" said Wanda Felty, Coordinator and organizer of the DDS Waiting List Meeting, "If you add all the money that has been dedicated to the waiting list, it doesn't come close to the legislative commitment made at the State Capitol today."
