Free Community Screenings

Early screening and detection is key.

One-third of those with type 2 diabetes are unaware they have it. Because often there are no symptoms with type 2 diabetes, the American Diabetes Association® recommends being screened every three years beginning at age 45, especially for people who are overweight or obese. If multiple risk factors are present, screening should be done at an earlier age and more frequently.

We offer free community screenings throughout the year that will help you know whether or not you need to see your doctor to find out if additional testing is needed, and provide you with resources and advice to take charge of your health.

To find out where our next community screening will be held, please call (405) 271-2824.
